Let's get into a little bit of the roster conversation about little battles there for specific key roster spots on this basketball team rotation

wise as well as we broadcast coming to you from the Xfinity lounge here on this dreary Wednesday

in Philadelphia but we have some important things to talk about that are not dreary with these

chat, great to see you on this Wednesday as we discuss some conversations about where the roster

construction, what's it going to look like and the battles that are going to go on heading into

training camp. Kyle, we're like a month and some change away from things really getting underway as

far as media day and in training

camp they have their trip to abu dhabi to take on the new york nix so with it and some of the

conversations derrick that we had yesterday about a dembona and drummond kind of on the fly kind of

you know just little in passing and just discussing it We felt like maybe we should discuss it a little bit

more today. So a few of the ones that we wanted to discuss in starting off were, of course,

the Big Man and Andre Drummond and Adel Bona. So as we look at it today, how do you see that

one playing out? Joel Embed is going to play his amount of games, whatever that might be,

but he's going to miss a certain amount of games too, whatever that might be. And those backup minutes are always key, always important

to being playing behind you all in Bede. So as you see it right now, man, what Bonner did at the end

of the season, having the Summer League that he did, and then looking at where Andre Drummond is opting back

into that $5 million final year of his deal. How do you see this one as we sit here on

August 20th playing out? Well, based on what they showed last year, it wasn't even close. Like,

Andre Drummond was a disappointment right from the jump. You didn't feel comfortable even as a backup, much less when he was asked to, you know, assume a larger role when Embed is out. I think that was one of the things that we were really hoping for was that he could help hold down the fort in the inevitable times that Jewel and Beed missed games. Now, we didn't expect Juell and Bede to miss three games. That span was much bigger than expected, but you saw right from the

jump that Andre Drummond was just not capable. He has rebounding was at basically a career low level.
