Robert Walgumu says husbands and wives need to ask themselves an important question.

Here's what he asks when interacting with his wife, Nancy.

Whose needs am I trying to meet?

And if the answer to that is my own, I would not be a pleasant person to live with.

And so what I want to answer every time I think that and I don't I'm not

perfect at this by a long shot but I want my answer to be Nancy's needs.

Encouragement, acts of kindness, and being intentional, things you've written about in

this book, the most important place on Earth. Now we're getting to live those

out in the laboratory of life and put them into practice and it is daily

intentionality, decisions we make, this whole thing of kindness.

And I'm so blessed, I'm so blessed because you have a lot of years of experience

that you've brought into this marriage where you have let the Lord teach you and

been through learning a lot of these things but now this is a new marriage and
