Maybe, well, not maybe, God has appointed you to be here. I really believe that.

The sovereign God did not accidentally get you to this podcast. You are here on purpose.

And perhaps it's because God wants you to join us in getting your mind aligned with the truth of his word today.

That's what we're going to be doing in John chapter 20 verses 30 through 31.

Before we dive into all that, friends, I want us to pray together.

That God himself will teach us.

He will be our instructor, and he will give us insight and wisdom

into how his word applies to our lives.

So Father, we ask you to open our eyes, open our hearts,

enable us to see truly what your word says to us today and enable me to get out of the way though I can get

all worked up and I can get pretty excited about this stuff I want you to speak.

So Father as we dig into your word we trust you are going to speak to us today.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Well, friends, as we get started today, I want you to think about those important events in your life.

Maybe the most important things that you've experienced in life.

What have they been?

For me, I would say, the day I trusted in Christ for sure

is the top of the list, but then there's the day I trusted in Christ for sure is the top of the list. But then there's the day I met my wife,

the day I married my wife, the day each of my children was born. Those are truly the red letter holiday type days in my experience.
