And on today's edition of the Word for today, Pastor Chuck continues with the most important commandment

as we pick up in mark, chapter 12, verse 14.

And now with today's message, here's Pastor Chuck.

The Sadducees being the materialist, rejected all of the Old Testament except for the five books of Moses.

And they said there is no place where immortality or resurrection is taught in the

Pentateauk. That all came along later with the prophets and all, but there's nothing in the

Pentateauk. So Jesus takes them to the Pentateauk. Have you not read in the book of Moses?

How in the bush, when God spoke to Moses,

he said unto him,

I am the God of Abraham,

the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.

Jesus said, He's not the God of the dead, but of the living.

And with their own book of Moses, he really cut them down.

Now, there was a certain scribe that was there,

and he was watching this whole transaction interchange of thoughts
