In a minute, Danny High Fitz of the Ringer is going to join me to talk about the teams who are down bad.

The teams who are furthest from Super Bowl contention, furthest from relevance,

furthest from the glory of the NFL postseason.

We're going to talk about the worst teams in football and how far away they are.

We're going to rank them one to five.

Some interesting choices from Danny, a team I don't think anyone has in their top five

at the bottom of the top five for me.

But before we get to that, a team that is not mentioned in that conversation,

it's a team I want to talk about when it comes to their offensive infrastructure

and some of the choices they made and are now being blamed for their struggles.

And that is our old friends, the New York Jets, who it felt like until Monday

we're in a good place. They were four and three after playing an extremely difficult schedule.

They obviously have not been great on offense without Aaron Rogers, who's been out for the year,

but they had been solid enough to win

games. They were on a winning streak. They beat the Broncos. They beat the Eagles in an upset. And then

they beat the Giants in a game where, unfortunately, somebody had to win. And the Jets pulled out a miracle

at the very end of the contest. We are now at a point after the Chargers game where criticism is coming in.

And I'm going to say that is deserved because people who are blaming this season, not living up to

expectations, which I don't think it will, on the Aaron Rogers injury,
