Summary

Probiotics need to be used properly to get their intended benefit. In today’s podcast, I talk about the 3-for-Balance protocol I recommend in the clinic and explain why using three probiotics together is best. I also share a case study from Phyllis, who used the 3-for-Balance protocol to dramatically improve her SIBO. https://drruscio.com/the-most-effective-probiotic-protocol-on-the-market

Hi, this is Dr. Rucho, and why does the three for balance protocol work so well?

1:00.8

And if you haven't heard of the three for balance protocol, what is essentially, if you

1:05.4

look at all the probiotics that have been researched, we can generally break them down

1:09.7

and organize them into three categories.

1:12.6

Essentially, probiotics break down into either, firstly, lactobacillus, ambifidobacterium-predominated blends,

1:20.6

or Saccharomycese spilarity, a healthy fungus, or a non-lactic acid-forming type of bacteria, soil-based organisms.

1:29.4

These are usually various bacillus strains.

1:31.5

And understanding this allows you to take another step into using all three probatic types together

1:40.3

in order to achieve balance in the gut ecosystem.

1:45.0

This stool analogy helps us to see the fact that what may be the most conducive to balancing the bacteria in your gut is a non-one-legged or one-formula approach,

2:00.0

but rather supporting the gut ecosystem, like you're supporting a stool

2:05.3

that you would sit on, with three different legs of support. Clinically, I have found this to be the

2:11.5

difference between floundering and success. And again, as the image here is depicting a one probiotic formula protocol as to the

2:23.1

analogy of a stool that you would sit on to balance it, it's kind of a wobbly stool. But if we get

2:28.2

three legs of support underneath, that does tend to be more conducive to long-term balancing of the microbiota.
