0:37.0	Good morning, friends. I'm happy to be with you today. As you heard in my introduction,
0:43.3	I have very few credentials or accolades to my name. So when I was invited to speak at this
0:48.6	devotional, two questions naturally came to mind. Why me and why now? As I prayerfully sought the Lord's direction for what
0:57.6	he would have me share with you today, the answer to the first question came. Why me? Because I am to
1:04.3	share two specific personal experiences with you, both of which have happened over the course of
1:09.2	several years in my life. One concerns a little red
1:12.5	notebook, and the other involves my second-born son. What I don't yet know is the answer to the
1:19.0	second question. Why now? My hope is that the Lord will reveal the answer to this question to each of you
1:26.0	through the whisperings of the Spirit,
1:28.2	as we spend time together this morning. To tell you about the Little Red Notebook, I'll start in April of 2010.
1:35.0	That's when President Henry B. Iring gave a general conference address entitled Act in All Diligence.
1:40.1	At the end of that address, he said the following. I close now with this counsel to the Lord's priesthood servants.
1:46.8	Ponder deeply and diligently in the scriptures and in the words of living prophets.
1:51.2	Persistent in prayer for the Holy Ghost to reveal to you the nature of God the Father and his beloved son.
1:57.2	Plead that the Spirit will show you what the Lord wants you to do.
2:00.9	Plan to do it.
