I think his career and credentials speak for themselves, but he will speak for himself today

on the Adam Schifter podcast. And of course, we had the NFL schedule come out this past week,

and I always find the NFL schedule to be maybe the only overdone thing that the NFL does.

I love the preseason. I love the regular season. I love the postseason. I love free agency.

I love the draft. The schedule. We know the games. We know the matchups. We know what's going to happen.

We just don't know when they're going to be played.

And I think it's a day that really enables the fans to pinpoint some travel plans.

Ooh, I'd like to go visit Green Bay.

Oh, it'd be great to go to fly to Las Vegas when our team is playing there.

But aside from that, it's much ado about nothing.

I don't mean to insult the league about this.

The league has done an unbelievable job growing its product and turning every single little thing into the biggest event.

But the one event that doesn't get me really

fired up is the schedule release. Now, I love seeing week one and the primetime matchups,

and I want to see who's playing on Thanksgiving, so I know who I'm sitting around with

and eating and watching that day. But aside from that, it doesn't matter to me who the Chiefs

are playing in week 14 or the Browns are playing in week 14 or the
