Such was my case in regard to the mortuary on cabbage lane.

The funeral home was a place that, in the eyes of my family growing up,

ruined the mood of the street.

I myself didn't see the harm in it, but I accepted their deduction for what it was and nothing more.

Of course there were certain times when it became necessary for my family to overlook their disdain

and take up the mortuary's local services.

But as a child, I myself never set foot in the place.

This was all before I saw it, for what it truly was.

Before I understood how juvenile it is to consider it in any other way.

A caravan of jewels sits surrounded by thieves uninterested in its riches,

and I have it all to myself.

I work there now, on cabbage lane, Aladdin in the cave, isolated from my family,
