Connor McGregor announced his retirement 31-year-old tweeted,

it's been quite a ride and explained his decision to Ariel Hawani after on Sunday morning.

It's not the first time McGregor has announced his retirement via Twitter.

He first walked away in March 2016, but returned in August and defeated Nate Diaz.
