Summary

In this episode, I virtually sit down with love coach Shaun Galanos! We discuss how honest a therapist should be, why you don't owe anyone an explanation for why you're not into them, how it's scarier for a woman to reject a man, why men are not that simple, how important relationship check-ins are, and how “what are we” doesn’t have to be so scary. This episode starts with a solo where I discuss talking about political differences, the ego when rejected, The Undoing, when to tell your them you go to therapy, independence in a good relationship, and if your partner loves receiving head but you don’t love giving it.

Hey guys, welcome back to We Men at Acme. What an exciting episode today we've got Sean

0:11.8

from the Love Drive. He is a dating coach, love coach, whatever you want to call him. He's so awesome.

0:18.5

He's got a huge TikTok presence and Instagram presence and he's really good at giving advice and

0:24.5

he actually has a degree in it, a license in it and he'll tell you more about that in our episode.

0:30.8

But before we get into that, I'm going to answer a few of your questions and then get right into it.

0:35.9

The first one that came up a lot actually is to talk about political differences and how to

0:40.5

handle with friends, significant others, significant others family, etc. Well, I first I want to say

0:47.5

you know, for me, it's a really exciting time. The fact that Joe Biden is the president-elect,

0:54.8

I think it's really amazing just that just knowing that people are for inclusivity again and that

1:01.7

hopefully we will be a less divided world, no matter what you believe, it's so important to

1:09.8

to be united and I feel like we were so stretched apart like in our beliefs. There was such a far

1:19.6

right and such a far left, but really nothing in the middle. So I'm hoping that now we can

1:25.5

get back to a place where there is some sort of middle ground. But talking about political

1:30.2

differences is really hard. I had a hard conversation with someone in my own family about this,

1:36.0

you know, yesterday. And it was really difficult because especially when someone in your family

1:42.9

is a single party voter or sorry, a single issue voter. So this is for anyone that doesn't know,

1:49.0

it's when you let's say only vote because you want better taxes. So you're basically only voting for

1:56.4

let's say a Republican because you want to be taxed less. And single issue voting is just not

2:03.3

something that's for me personally. But you know, when you have a family member that has a different

2:09.8

view on this, it can be really tempting to kind of get into it with them. But I think honestly the

2:16.4

best way and I need to talk to my therapist about this to make sure. But I think the best way is just
