So I'm going to bite the bullet and make this one into a

two-parter. Not over two-weeks. Just a normal old two-parter to come out. Hold on and we will get

the second part to you. That'll be basically separating out the main bulk of the story, the

The warriors of the Creek tribe have gathered.

They have deliberately waited for this night with the climactic showdown with their nemesies.

A bright full moon looms overhead as the warriors with spears, clubs, bows, and arrows

crouch in the bushes near a small rock wall and the entrance to a gaping cave mouth.

Should the warriors attempt to breach the cave entrance, they know they will face certain death,

but ahead they see their foes slowly emerging.

The moon-eyed people. The moon-eyed people

never emerge during daylight hours, like bats. They wait until the sun has fully set to emerge from

their caves. The fortification of those caves protect them in the daytime, and their uncanny,

even supernatural ability to

see on even the darkest nights make them a foe no band of warriors has ever been able
