interviews over the weekend, you probably caught

some quotes on moodiness, quotes on this team needing to add a traditional point guard, quotes

on this team not yet having championship habits.

Basically, they all talked about the fairly sizable gap between where the wolves are

at right now and where the spurs

and thunder are at right now, which feels even more relevant after watching game one of

the Western Conference Finals last night. I've got Kyle, Tygey here with me to get into all of

this. What's up, Kyle? How is your mood today? I'm good I'm good no foreplay today though I just

want to get right into it because I think I am more excited for this pod than I've been

for a podcast since maybe they won game seven against the nuggets um not just because how the

season ended but then the exit interviews that night and then Saturday morning as well.

And then to top it all off, I think throughout this podcast will sprinkle in a little bit of what you and I watched last night, which was, I think, the future of the league.

And I'm not one of those guys that's going to be like, oh, you know, the league is Wembe's for the next 10 years or it's going to be OKC, San Antonio for the next 10 years. But there was a style of play last night in the final 22 minutes of that fourth quarter in the two overtimes that is the new, you know, this is what you're going to have to do now. This is how you're going to have to play basketball if you want to contend at the highest level um but it starts with the moodiness it starts with how

the season ended for the timber wolves and more importantly because i know you didn't get to do

the pod with chris after media day or after exit interviews because it kind of got like the

brit one lost in the sauce but uh there's a lot of quotes from Friday night and Saturday morning that I think are

very telling and set the stage for this off season.
