Summary

On the seemingly ordinary streets of mid-century London, with a new queen on the throne and memories of the war fading, Mr John Reginald Christie harboured a dark secret, hidden in plain sight amidst the bustling city life. The unassuming ‘alleged’ medical professional and police constable ensnared unsuspecting victims with charm and deceit, inviting them into his home under false pretences. Behind closed doors, his facade crumbled, revealing the true horrors that lurked within. Women vanish without a trace, their fates sealed by Christie's evil desires. Each victim became another chapter in his macabre, twisted story, their remains concealed within the very walls of his residence. As the city continued on, oblivious to the atrocities unfolding within its midst, John Christie resumed his reign of terror, a shadowy figure haunting the collective consciousness of the capital with his chilling series of gruesome crimes…
