So we have a saying in the Frederick household, and it's this. It is slow is steady and steady

is fast. And that saying came from years back. I was part of a Hellattack fire crew, a wild

and firefighting. Remember those years? Salina. Sounds really cool. Really exhausting work. And it was just

kind of a summer thing I did. Did you fly helicopters? No, I got to watch a lot of helicopters.

I worked on the helotac cruise.

Just like Dwight like, yeah.

But the whole point, exactly, totally nerd.

The whole point of that saying that slow is steady and steady as fast is for disaster response.

So if you've ever been in sort of any sort of triage moment or any sort of disaster or a

crisis scenario, it's so imperative to be able to assess the situation accurately. And that means

you have to slow down, don't panic, think clearly about the situation, and then you act

steadily and decisively out of that slowing down.

And so in that way, slow is steady, and steady is fast.

And so I'm bringing that up here because this whole series here, we're talking about trust and

betrayal and rebuilding trust and being trustworthy.

And so for the first part of this, we're talking about kind of that instance where you realize that you don't have the trust you thought you had.

Maybe your trust was broken or you, and there was a betrayal.

And that could be a huge catastrophic thing or it could be a realization that, wow, I don't trust my wife to listen well to me.

I don't trust her. Huh? Or I don't trust my wife to listen well to me. I don't trust her.

Huh?

Or I don't trust my husband to provide for our family in the various ways that a husband should provide,

not just financially, but spiritually and with love and with nurturing your family.
