we've got a different kind of episode for you today. Okay, let me grab my laptop.

We thought we'd go to Guardian reporters around the world.

The sort of main thing in my memory from that was the family that we met.

To ask them about the one moment this year.

It said a lot about society in general.

That they just couldn't shake.

Yeah. Earlier this year, I traveled to Syria to get a sense of what freedom looked like in a country that had been living under one of the most oppressive regimes in the world for decades.

And I wanted to capture what that freedom sounded like.
