In 2003, after a 20-year career in football,

playing for the likes of Crystal Palace, Wools and England,

I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia.

I was given just three months to live, but after two years of treatment in the stem cell transplant,

I overcame the disease.

Our guests will share how their lives have been shaped by times of adversity and how those

experiences have made them the people they are today.

I wanted to speak to fellow sports people to find out how like me they overcame these moments.
