Jacob, we've a lot to catch up on since bank holidays have taken their toll of Mockcasts recently.

And I am going to ask you at some point about last week's events.

But I thought I'd ask this question to start with.

One of your colleagues was interviewed on television last night, a Brexiteer like you,

and was asked about the economic benefits of Brexit,

and this person said, will come back in a year, and I'll tell you,

I wondered if you could offer us an answer in a quicker time frame.

Yes, indeed. The biggest Brexit economic benefit was that because of the early vaccine rollout, we were able

to open our economy faster than any other European country.

By economic scale, that is by far away the biggest benefit that we've had so far.

Why couldn't David Davis think of that on television last night rather than ask his interview

to wait for a year?

I don't know. You'll have to ask David that particular question. He may, if I've read

reports of that interview correctly, have had other things on his mind.
