I think Kenny Omega is one of the best wrestlers ever,

now because I've said that I'm going to cause an internet meltdown, but hey,

but as somebody who watches wrestling and does wrestling myself,

a lot of what he does just absolutely blows my brain, I'm like,

fuck me, how did he do it? He also seems to be a very nice man,

which I appreciate. But also when it comes to the cleaner,

he has more to him than meets the eye, and really there's a misunderstood genius to him,

we're going to talk about right now. Because one of the best matches so far of 2023 was Kenny

Omega versus Will Ospreay from Wrestle Kingdom, and while what they did in the ring was just insane,

as far as I'm concerned, it's actually all the pre-amble in the build where we need to start

investigate. Because really, both of these guys treated this feud as if it was a sport.

If you go back to some of Will Ospreay's tweets in 2022, he was very excited about the fact

that maybe soon, very soon, he was going to become the owner of the most five star matches in

history courtesy of Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newletter. Omega then flew into pop his

balloon, because he was like, listen, Will, that may be true, but let's look at the finer points here,

you had no pressure, you had no major crowd, it was just you running around doing the same thing

you always do. And if you think that's impressive, great, but I don't. So the idea was to present

wrestling as if it was something to excel in, even though it is predetermined, and not at like

it's properly real. Just getting this kind of praise is great sure, but if we look at the finer

picture, no, you absolutely tried my friend, but Kenny Omega says no. It's no different than when

Michael Jordan used to get asked about LeBron James or Ronaldo gets asked about Messi, both of these
