While the effects of climate change are damaging in particular ways, the reality of the situation is that the situation may have been improving the entire time. Even if global agencies are influencing modern models, the data actually may show a gradual improvement, despite the reality of global warming.

1:32.4	your background, how did you get into this topic? Very convoluted way. So I actually, like I think
1:39.8	most people in rich countries, I used to be sort of a green piece, or yeah, I wasn't out in the
1:45.1	rubber boat. I had the posters on my wall in the backpack and the whole thing. And worried very
1:51.3	much about climate change and many other environmental issues. And I taught statistics at the University
1:58.8	of Arhus, which is the second big university in Denmark. And one of the things I continuously
2:04.1	told my students was, you know, you think you know a lot of things, but what statistics actually
2:09.2	show you is a lot of things are quite opposite of what you think. And so at one point, I read an
2:16.0	interview with an American economist in why I magazine. And this guy said, everything, or most
2:21.8	things that you think you know about environment is wrong. I was totally sure he was just sort of
