The Old Testament Book of Jonah is not the story of a great fish.

It is the story of a great God.

In a world on the verge of judgment and desperate for a spiritual awakening,

it holds a message we all need.

Salvation is of the Lord.

Join us in the miracles of our God,

we concentrate on specific seasons throughout the Old and New Testaments

where the Lord used miracles to get across his message.

For example, he uses miracles in a tremendous way in Israel's history.

If you look at their deliverance from Egyptian bondage, full of miracles,

he sent prophets to them from time to time, not only with a message,

but from time to time with miracles.

And the miracle validated the message.

And when you come to the New Testament, the Bible says that Jews require sign, we most often

find the miracles connected to God telling his chosen people, the nation, this is really me. This is truth. And so in the early

stages of the New Testament church, there's again a great emphasis on miracles. Now, there are

extremes. On one extreme, there are people that believe that all of those signs and all of those

miracles that were done at any point in history are to be done

today we believe god can do anything he chooses to do anytime he wants to do it anywhere he

chooses to do it but that is not the pattern that you find even later in the new testament

you do not see all of the signs and miracles that were done by the
