If you would turn with me to the book of Psalms, Psalm 133,

scripture we've looked at for the previous few weeks, Psalm 133,

and then also we'll look at 2nd Corinthians chapter 5.

Psalm 133, then we'll be going to the New Testament, 2 Corinthians chapter 5. In Psalm 133

verse 1, it says, behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.

It's a wonderful thing when people are one place and one mind and one accord all on the same page, so to speak,

and particularly when we're all in one mind and one accord

with God and with each other.

It's a beautiful thing.

It's a pleasant thing.

It's a good thing.

It's, by contrast, a bad thing when there's strife and there's fighting.

It's ugly and it's unpleasant.

In verse two, he said this unity is like the precious ointment on the head that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard, went down to the skirts of his garment.

How many understand, that's a lot of oil.

Right?

You pour it on the head, and it makes it all the way to the hymn.

Well, God's a God of abundance.

You know, if he's pouring oil, he's not going to be skrimping on it.

You can be sure.

It's like the dew of ermine and the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion,

for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.
