One thing I know is that we've all been hit with a measure of adversity at some point in our life.

When I was a kid I was wondering kind of what's the meaning of life.

Like why are we here? What's it all about?

And I came to the conclusion that what really matters is trying to understand the right questions to ask.

And the more that we can increase the scope and scale of human consciousness the better we are able to ask these questions.

Like most of us start there was no belief that I could do it.

I just kind of had an itching to go run my own thing.

You know the only way you could be a failure is not to fail.

To be honest the first company I went was a total disaster.

I'm a bright guy who's terribly interested in what he does.

I've spent a lifetime doing it and I've surrounded myself with people that bring out the best in me.

And you don't need to be a genius in what I do.

Make a plan.

One thing I've noticed is that enthusiasm is common but endurance is rare.

That when and if and hopefully you get to the point that you are successful, no one can tell you lies.

Listening is not about hearing the words that are spoken.

It's not being able to parrot back what somebody said to you.

Listening is listening for meaning.

You are a good listener.

The test for being good listener is if the other person feels heard.

You need the right orientation.

Look at what you're interested in.
