0:43.3	told by the marvellous Jason Buck. How are you super great kids? I'm pleased because we have a new theme of giants, witches, ogres and magical beings.
0:57.7	I'm also pleased because it's about to be the 1st of May, which marks the beginning of warmer weather here in the UK.
1:06.3	And we celebrate it here with picnics and dancing, either around a Maypole or with Morris dancing.
1:14.7	Morris dancers wear white shirts and black shoes with bells on their ankles,
1:19.6	and they often wave coloured hankies or sticks with bells.
1:23.4	My children who like to sing, join in the tradition of going out very early on May the 1st to sing madrigals,
1:31.7	which are jolly kinds of songs sung in harmony and with no musical instruments.
1:37.7	My favourite madrigal is,
1:40.3	Now is the month of Maying when Mary lads are playing.
1:45.3	Fala la la la la la la la la la la la la la.
1:49.5	Oh, I do like a bit of falalaaring.
1:53.4	You might already know that the 1st of May is also associated with fairies and witches.
2:01.6	Yes.
2:03.6	In several countries in northern and central Europe,
2:06.6	people say that on the night before May the first,
2:10.6	witches come out to play, make mischief and hold parties.
2:16.6	So, in lots of countries like Germany, Sweden, Estonia and Finland,
