channeled his anger into a horrifying mass murder.

start your day with a morning cup of murder. Tian Ming Jian, born in 1964, was a first lieutenant in the

12th regiment of the 3rd Guard Division of the People's Liberation Army Beijing Garrison

stationed in Tongzian County.

Having been in the military for over 10 years, originally as a sharpshooter, Tian was

extremely skilled in the technology field and was once promoted to regimental staff officer

for military affairs.

Despite his rank and skill, though, it was reported that Tian had a, quote, quarrel with his supervisors,

after they forced his wife to have an abortion in accordance with China's one-child policy.

Though he already had a daughter and knew about the laws in place,

Tian came from a rural area in the Hanan province, where strong traditional values put an emphasis on siring a male. So, Tian tried his best to keep his wife's pregnancy a secret,

hoping to quietly fulfill his duty by having a son,

but was foiled when someone found out and went straight to the army.
