I'm really, really excited to have you here.

As we talked about before, everybody has a story, right?

And the reason why we started this podcast is our passion is to help them tell it.

And one of the things we know before we've even heard your story is your story is

going to connect with somebody, right? They're going to connect with you somehow, right? They might be a financial advisor. They might be somebody who grew up like you did or grew up where you grew up, that kind of thing. So, and we know that that connection will inspire and motivate them.

And so that's what we're all about.

Yeah, thanks for having me, Mike. So let's start with your permission. Let's start at the very beginning. Let's start with where you were born.

Well, I was born in Long Beach City. My dad was going to Long Beach State as an architect.

But shortly thereafter, moved to LA County in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains there. So a little town called Sera Madre.

Okay.

But then spent the most of my, you know, from 5 to 18

and a town right next to it called Monrovia.

So 10 minutes east of Pasadena.
