Hello, and welcome back to every square inch. We are nearing the completion of a series on masculinity.

And sadly, I do need to acknowledge that this discussion is now coinciding with the tragedy that everyone is talking about.

And frankly, people are asking me to talk about.

This is the first podcast I have released after Charlie Kirk's assassination.

And like I said, already I've had many people, some, some I know, or some just reaching out via

email or messages, asking if I would record my thoughts on all things, Charlie Kirk.

And I understand the desire for some guidance in the immediate aftermath and I am

I guess flattered that folks would even want my guidance but if you are a regular listener then you

know that I'm not into using the podcast for immediate reaction stuff.

I know that algorithms reward hot takes and those get more clicks and attention,

but that's just not the nature of my work.

Some are really skilled at that.

I am not one of those.

I am much better at, I guess you could say, lukewarm takes.
