we've done it to ourselves. It's man-made. So the idea that what we are capable of doing to one

another and how ridiculous that would be was such an interesting theme, and I love the idea of

talking about it. And then the pandemic hit and you realize it's also

about our inability to communicate and to be home and to be with family and friends and the people

of director George Clooney's new sci-fi drama, The Midnight Sky. In this post-apocalyptic tale,

a lonely scientist in the Arctic races to stop astronauts from returning home to Earth after a

mysterious global catastrophe has occurred. In addition to the Midnight Sky, Mr. Clooney's directorial credits include the feature films

Suburicon, The Monuments Men, The Iads of March, Leatherheads, and Good Night and Good Luck.
