As I sat there before my radio show on Wednesday, was it Wednesday?

Yes, on Wednesday and I watched the first hour of the Met game and I saw the Mets,

give us a little life, hit a couple of home runs,

even Jeff McNeil went deep.

I thought to myself, well here we go again.

Here we go again.

The New York Mets are gonna salvage the final game of a series.

And I promise, I promise the RICOICO audience I won't use the word salvage

I won't talk about how maybe this will lead to something good because it never does but I would be

thrilled just get a victory I'll pick my words differently we can lick our

wounds and we go into a very very long homestand at City Field as we welcome in the

summer and then a nightmare occurred. An absolute Wednesday

afternoon freaking nightmare. And what really sucked about this was that, I don't know how you guys felt as

met fans, I thought we were gonna win. I really did. And I've been negative all

week watching the crap we saw on Monday against Cleveland will break down that game.

The fight on Tuesday where every time they would come back and hit a two-run home run,

Cleveland would respond immediately,

and then the game ends on a double play that off the bat I thought was getting through.

I actually sat there and maybe it's because I was distracted and I was doing a radio show with a weekday afternoon game,

but up 3-0 with Kintana dealing and the Mets sort of retaliating, getting

the ultimate retaliation with a Bader home run.

I thought, they're going to win. Yeah, they're going to win.
