Hey, everybody, welcome to another edition of the Shady Anything podcast.

It's Doug Williams and Andy Martino with you on this Monday.

Mets are two and two since we last spoke, won a series and lost a series.

And I think, you know, two and two is not a bad record in any other scenario and any other season, really.

Obviously, month of September is always crunch time.

But this year, the Mets have really been relying on going on some sort of run in this month.

And it just hasn't happened yet.

It's not like they're playing altogether bad baseball.

They won a few games that it

seemed like they were going to lose when they didn't get length from de Grom and Lugo and Mats. And

that was impressive. But, you know, then they go and lose a game where Rick Porcelo pitches really

well in the season finale against the Braves. And it's frustrating for for Mets fans that they haven't

gone on that run that necessarily

their fans expected or wanted them to go on. So we'll talk a little bit about that as we move

forward and some of the performances that stand out, Andy. I did pre-imposed this weekend in place of the great Gary Apple. And as I'm going on air

on Sunday afternoon, I see on Twitter, I'm on Twitter and DJ Short, who I follow on Twitter,

tweeted out, you know, what are, what are some of Brody's best non-J.D. Davis moves as the GM of the Mets.

And I tweeted out, and this is actually in large part due to you putting it on my radar and the conversation.
