giving you, maybe not a trigger warning, but an intensity warning for this episode.

And I really hate the fact that I'm having to give it, but it's because almost no one literally talks about the messy middle and growth and success and

maybe behind closed doors in a therapy office or in a support group but certainly not on

public airways for millions of people to hear.

And the fact that I even have to kind of give you a warning

that we're talking about like tough stuff, emotional stuff, there's likely going to be tears.

That's kind of sad, isn't it? That shows how we have not normalized the messiness of growth and it's an essential part of it.

In fact, you can't grow without it.

It's a key ingredient of the recipe.

Yet everyone wants to kind of hide it behind closed doors.

Oh, don't show that or no one's going to buy from you.

If you talk about that, people aren't going to respect you and they're not going to want to listen to you and want to work with you because you know you're messy and so why would someone want to hire you if you're so messy?

It's like I don't hire anyone who's not willing to get messy

because if you're not willing to get messy that shows me that you're in pure ego

number one number two it shows me you're full of shit. Number three, it

shows me that you don't understand my mess or how to help me navigate through my messy middle times if you've not been through it yourself.

So you know what a giant Zero flux given!
