Welcome to Axis Pro Radha, a podcast that takes just 10 minutes to get you smarter on the collision of tech business and politics.

I'm Dan from Mack. On today's show, the tech world is about to lose one of its top executives and the rise of robot restaurants.

0:19.7

But first, the mess at CBS.

0:22.4

It's been well over a month since we all first heard public allegations of sexual harassment

0:27.0

against Les Moonvez, the CEO of CBS, and arguably the single most powerful man in all

0:33.1

of television.

0:33.8

The network promised an investigation, but also let Moonvest host its most recent earnings call,

1:23.1

1:28.6

Apparently, some CBS board members didn't realize that fiduciary duty and moral duty are

1:33.3

sometimes one in the same. Now, MoonViz, of course, denies having done anything wrong, and

1:37.3

CBS hasn't released the results of its internal investigation, which could take months.

1:41.2

But CBS does have big clouds hanging over its future, as no other company

1:45.4

nearly this large has ever seen its CEO get his alleged comeuppance in the Me Too era. In short,

1:51.7

CBS is looking an awful lot like an M&A target. And the bottom line here for them is that they can
