Romans 11:28–32 - [28] As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. [29] For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. [30] For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, [31] so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy. [32] For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all. (ESV)

1:21.1	describing the relationship between the people of Israel who were God's chosen people in the Old Testament and those of us who
1:29.9	are not Israeli people, but are believing in Jesus Christ. And here in verse 28, he's going to pick up
1:36.6	that train of thought. But before we get into it, would you pray with me? Our Father, we ask you
1:43.3	to teach us today what you want us to
1:45.8	understand. Enable us to see your mercy anew and how we can revel in it, how we can roll in it,
1:53.4	how we can marinate in it, Lord, we want to be immersed in your mercy. So guide us today
1:59.6	in Jesus' name. Okay, Paul's going to pick up here in
2:03.7	verse number 28 in Romans chapter 11 talking about Israel. And he says, as regards the gospel,
2:11.8	they are enemies for your sake. So pause. The gospel is the message of Jesus Christ. The God, man, came to earth,
