People tend to think the way they have been thinking. And the longer you've been thinking a certain way, the more ingrained it becomes, until you might not even realize that it's the pattern of your thoughts.

Here's a silly example, but I think it will help you see what I mean. When I was growing up, we lived in the country. We would make the trip to go get groceries

every two weeks. When I got married and set up my own housekeeping, we were living in an

0:27.6

1:26.0

a way to make that transition in five stages, and

1:30.3

I hope you feel free to linger at each stage until it feels comfortable. We've talked

1:36.8

at length about changing your methods for the different school subjects, but there's also

1:41.9

a change that needs to happen in your mindset.

1:46.3

Today, I want to address that mental part of making the transition.

2:10.4

but some might not. And if we don't know the difference, it will be easy to get off track.

2:20.5

We tend to think, as we have been thinking unless we purposefully make a change. So let's take a look at three tendencies that might be

2:28.1

programmed into our minds from our past experiences. Three ideas that we might easily lean into without realizing that they're
