Hello, strong, feisty women.

So the first thing I want to say this week is you all kick ass.

I was out on Saturday at the first annual Rothrock grit gravel grinder.

And it was hot and humid and it's a hard, hard course, with the long course being about

7,500 feet of climbing over about 65 miles.

There's a couple shorter courses, but they are not easy, tons of big mountain climbing

and rugged terrain.

And there were 180 women and 177 men signed up there.

And yes, you heard that right.

There were more women than men at this amazing

event put on by Happy Valley Women's Cycling in State College, PA. Even better, there were

so many feistys. Thank you to everyone who came up and told me how much you like the show and how it's helped you.

My heart is so full, you are all awesome.

And I would like to also give a big round of applause to all the feistys that were out there grinding through the heat and the wind in the Flint Hills of Kansas at

and bound this weekend. I salute you. That place is unforgiving and you all made us super

proud. And speaking of super proud, I need to give a shout out to Tanya Dalton from episode 28.

She finished Iron Man Cairns or Cairns, as they say, this weekend, her very first Iron Man in 13 hours and 42 minutes.

And as she told me, never in a million years previously would I have imagined I could complete something like this,
