I had the pleasure of speaking to Mendecis Harris,

Yandy Harris, husband of Love and Hip Hop.

I know you've seen them last couple episodes.

Mendecis was indicted on drug charges in Rochester, New York.

And now, yes, serve eight-year sentence.

And we spoke about his family changing his life,

you know, the things that he've been through,

you know, how jail is affecting his relationship

with his kids and his family.

And it was just a discussion that I really wanted to have

because I always try to give like my little speeches.

I preach a lot, you know what I mean?

On social media, trying to just basically just give the understanding

that the shit that we glorify and do isn't to be glorified

and shouldn't be done, you know what I mean?

And I'm happy I had this conversation with Mendecis

because it just gives another public figure, you know what I mean?

The platform, you know, reflect the same ideas that I agree with.

And it's just basically that a lot of the shit that we do

and that we've done and that the kids are out here doing now,

isn't it, isn't worth it, you know what I mean?

As far as crime goes, you know what I mean?
