Hello there and welcome to the High Low where the Pop Culture Podcast that mixes the

high and the low, flippant and serious, often cheery but sometimes angry, bookish and

Bordy, just like the women who host it. I'm Pandora Sykes and I'm Dolly Alderton.

And both together and separately we really lived the philosophy of this podcast which is

founded on the tenant of high low journalism spawned by Tina Brown, the Vanity Fair Editor

in the 80s, to denote a woman or man who enjoys everything from the trivial to the political,

the errant chin hair to the Trumpian politics. So basically it's the smorgasborded delights

across everything from the low brow to the high brow. That's what we're going to be bringing

to say. I think we've managed to say so many words without defining a tool. No, no, we

have. The smorgasborded delights. A banquet of culture. Do you know a banquet of culture

that I experienced recently, Pandora? It's a neat segue into my 30th birthday party on

Saturday. Pandora was a vision in acid yellow satin and no undies. I don't know if you can

be a vision in acid yellow satin. You looked amazing. It's one of these to talk about my

underwear and lack of everyone at the party kept saying, doesn't Pandora look amazing? Imagine

if I wore that every single woman said that to me and I said, I know I would look like big bed.

Anyway, you're 30th. Did you have a lovely time? I did have a lovely time. I always find hosting

quite stressful. The only time I haven't found hosting stressful was at my wedding, which is

nice. I suppose that's the right way around. But you're always terrified. Everyone that said,

thank you, I was going, but was it fun? I'm sorry. I think you didn't do that to everyone.

Do you know everyone? No, it was adorable. I saw you every when everyone was sleeping. It was

very cute. Oh, did I do it at the end? I did it in text as well.
