Moses did his work very faithfully as a shepherd of sheep and exercising that gift and that ability so well,

God said, it's time to bring you before great men and he brought him before the greatest man in the world,

which was Pharaoh. In like manner, that's a lesson for all of us. We have gifts, man. God has blessed us with gifts.

And as we exercise our gifts faithfully, even in the humblest of duties, it's designed

that ultimately it may bring us before great men, not so they could see how great we are,

but they can see how great God is.

As a young Christian, today's guest was one of my biggest inspirations. I looked up to how plainly he spoke, how willing he was for the Lord to use him here, there, and

everywhere, and how the messages God gave him seemed to be so biblical, so practical, and so personal.

Thankfully, he now only lives five minutes down the road from me, and our community here is now

being blessed by the Lord using him.

Our character for today's episode is no stranger to public ministry either, tasked with

shepherding over a million people and undertaking a mass exodus from one great nation

to a land of promise.

Moses was well acquainted with the Lord's work, as well as immense stress and unimaginable pressure.

Yet throughout this, he remained connected to God, strong, bold, and fearless.

It's easy to take these great heroes of our faith

and elevate them to superhuman status.
