Hello, everybody. Welcome back to the Riley Gaines Show. Oh my goodness. We had the travel week

0:10.1

from hell this past weekend, getting back to Nashville from Washington, D.C. As I said, on Friday's

0:16.2

episode, we were in Washington, D.C. for the March for Life. It was incredible. Vice President J.D. Vance spoke there, which was timely, given the fact that he and his wife, Usha, just announced that they're welcoming their fourth baby, another little baby boy into the world. His remarks were something that I don't think we've seen, certainly from anyone in the White House before surrounding the issue of life.

0:40.9

I mean, you think back to President Bush, his administration.

0:44.6

I mean, they essentially hit under the bed during the March for Life and waited for it to be over before they came back out.

0:50.2

You had President Trump who issued a statement and vice president there who gave remarks that were just so

0:56.0

clear and filled with conviction and courage. He used words like even child sacrifice. Again,

1:02.3

that's kind of extraordinary. We haven't seen something like that from the White House before.

1:07.2

So it was incredible. We had like 100,000 people in the streets. And one of the most remarkable things that I noted was that this was a movement heavily driven by young people, not by Washington, D.C. bureaucrats or politicians by young people. So I feel incredibly inspired. As I said, though, we had some problems getting back home.

1:28.3

Of course, the ice storm that has taken over, especially the southern part of the country,

1:33.3

Nashville is home for me.

1:36.3

I thought the whole like exploding trees thing was a myth until now being back home.

1:41.3

I've seen trees exploding everywhere. All in my yard, like they've just

1:45.2

essentially split in half. So I'm glad we made it back home safely. I have a new appreciation

1:51.3

for airline workers and pilots and flight attendants. God bless you guys. I saw so much anger and

1:57.1

frustration directed at you all in the three days that we spent trying to get back to Nashville.

2:01.9

But I understand, of course, you wanted us to be safe and you want to get home to.

2:05.9

So thank you guys for your service.

2:08.7

We have an exciting episode today.

2:11.6

I've got a few thoughts I want to share with you guys about the ongoing news cycle of ICE in Minneapolis. I want to talk to you guys about

2:20.2

Jennifer Welch. If you don't know the name, then honestly, I envy you and Kanye West in his new

2:25.9

apology. But before we get into that, I want to tell you about today's sponsor. If you've watched
