Hey, remember when I said that I wasn't going to be posting anything to the website in August?

Well, I guess I fibbed.

No, I am not. I know you're all jonesing for your Corbett fix,

and you can't wait to hear my hot take on the latest news passing through the news wires,

but that is not why I'm here today. No, I will be back in September

posting with the regular news and updates and New World next week and all that good stuff.

For August, as you know, I'm taking a bit of a hiatus, working on some projects behind the

scenes, but I thought, as a little special treat, it's the middle of August, I know what

you're thinking about. Man, I wish I had a couple of hours of lecture on the history of

mass media to keep me occupied during this Corbett hiatus. Well, here you are, guys. I am going to

deliver for you today. So here's what we're going to do. I am going to play the first lesson of

the mass media a history online course, which I hope you know by now is available through

New World next week. It is a three lesson course, and in those three lessons, there's five

and a half hours of lecture. When you purchase the course through New World next week, you get
