This is the most famous burp in all of film history.

It's from Citizen Kane.

It's from Revenge of the Nords.

That is still going. It's Curtis Armstrong playing Booger in Revenge of the

nerds and as you may or may not know it's the 30th anniversary of that movie and

that great famous burp. So Curtis can you tell us the story of that

birth? Okay here's the story of the burp. When we did the I am not a natural belcher no

If you ask me to belch on cue I can't do it. You know they tend to sneak up on me like they do most people.

But I knew that there was this belching contest in the movie.

So I said, how do we do this?

And they said, just pretend you're doing the biggest belch in the world and we'll

find somebody who can actually do the belch sort of a stunt belcher and

they'll find someone and they'll dub it in later.

So when we shot the film, I just did this ridiculous, you know, endless belch.

And so they then started auditioning people to do the biggest belch in the world and they got some good ones apparently but none good enough.

It really lacked something. So they started searching through

recordings in the animal kingdom to find something that you could use in in lieu of a human belch and they found

strange as it is a recording of a camel having an orgasm. What? It was a. a they happened to catch one of the camels at confirmation and it was perfect.

So they

they took it with the best human belch they could come up with

and that is what you hear ultimately is a combination of human,

belch, and camel orgasm.
