Podcast Excerpt: WHAT is true spirituality? Many people have asked this, and just as many have answered it. I do not pretend to know more about this all important topic than others, but it seems to me that there should be a different answer given than the one we ordinarily hear.
Many religious people think that spirituality must manifest in some unnatural way, such as giving up all personal pleasure and becoming resigned to whatever happens; that we must give up most of what life holds here; that in some far-off future perhaps we may attain true bliss.
