Today, we're going to be talking about the mysterious numbers in the Bible.

That's right. In the Bible, there's a lot of instances of numbers that have secret and hidden

meaning. I'm going to explore all of those numbers that you see come up in Scripture time and time

All right, looking forward to this episode. We're going to be jumping right in. There's a lot of

mysterious numbers in the Bible. After that intro, there's one number I wish I'd never heard,

and that was this full number. I ruined regret the day. Well, look, we are clearly the number one

talk show out there. My favorite number is one. One true God. No other God's besides that one.

The first commandment. That's right. One. Hero, Israel. Lord, your God is one. That's true.

I like that. There's a lot of numbers. I think people are fascinated by measurement, by number,

by kind, and all throughout Scripture, there are so many examples of numbers being specific.

You think about the gospel of John. The gospel of John, he's the most specific with how

many fish were caught and everything. This is going to be a great episode. What we're talking about

today is not numerology. We're not talking about the secret power and the hidden thing of numbers.

to represent a specific meaning. You'll see this in the ancient world where letters and numbers

are interchangeable. In the Roman elf, Roman numerals, they were letters. A lot of times,

numbers had very specific, even word meanings. It really helps you to understand the ancient

mind when you see in the Bible. These numbers, 12, 43, 70, and there are numbers that you hear as
