And so send thoughts and prayers to him and nice messages because his family's going through things right now. But let's talk about the Mabbs. Let's talk about their offseason. Let's talk about some of the moves that they've made because I think there's one thing they've definitely fixed and it's shooting. They've definitely had an influx of shooting with almost every move that they've made so far. We still have some issues to talk about that, but I want to talk about some of the additions. And Tariq Babirovich, if he comes over from Fenderbachi, that is a big influx of shooting the Mavericks have actually added. And so we'll talk about him. But let's just talk about the overall.

The Mavericks last season were not a good shooting team. It felt like every single game, we were doing post games. And I was like, man, if only the Mabbs had more three-point shooters. They just need the volume of three-point shooters. We talked about the Tim Hardaway Jr. your analogy over over and over again this season, where it was,

man, if only they just had somebody that was confident in taking threes, just need somebody to take like 10. Like, I don't even care if they're bad. Like, just take five more bad threes. At least those threes would go up and at least the Mabbs would have a chance to get rebounds or whatever. They were just outshot in so many different games.

It was a massive flaw for this Mavericks team. And now you look at this MAV's team and you go, okay, if I squint, it's all of a sudden starting to have, starting to see some real shooting on the roster. Kyrie Irvin coming back, a massive addition. The best shooting edition, I think this Mavericks team could have, you know, realistically made from last year to this year. He's just an all-around shotmaker creators, been a 50, 40, 90 guy. He is, you know, incredible three-point shooter, can get his own shot, can get a shot for somebody else, can create a shot, like, just can do a whole lot of different things obviously

his driving to the rim his finishing around the rim his threat to go to the rim is going to create

open shots for others it's just going to add a whole lot to this team shooting wise that i think is a

massive massive upgrade then you've got um clay thompson another big question on the roster is still going to be on the team? Is he still going to be around? If he is, then the map still has, that's another solid three-point shooter, and then all of a sudden you've got some questions about how many players can you actually play if, like, Clay, and Najee and Caleb Martin are still on the roster. But with Clay, you obviously have a great shooter. he had a good season shooting the ball last year. Max Christie, still on the roster. Catch and shoot wing. Shot incredibly well to begin of the season. Towards the end, it started to go down. The Mabbs whole season went down. Everything started to go down with it, except for like flag scoring, and that was kind of the only thing. Then you talk about the influx of talent the Mavericks have added with some of these guys. And you look at the additions of like a Marcus Sasser, a Marcus Sasser in a trade, which Mark Stein has reported that can go through July 6th. And the way he talked about it when he was on the DLLS show today, he about, like, these are happening. It was almost a certainty.

the way that he, the way that he said,

he talked about them.

He said, you know, like, you know, the lined up.
