Not a ton going on in the sports world, but I want to give you that weekly whip around

25, 30 minutes every week, what's going on, My insights, my perspective, my what I hope to be unique

Let's get to it. And I want to start in the NBA. I mentioned this last week, but I have to talk

more about what's happened with a couple of teams. We mentioned that the previous defending champion

of the NBA before this year, the Boston Celtics,

they had an Achilles injury to their superstar, Jason Tatum, and they have sort of backed off

from the idea of contending in 25, 26, and basically sold off two of their five starting players,

both making over $30 million a year.

Porzingis goes to the Hawks for limited comp back, and of course, Drew Holiday goes to the

Blazers for limited comp back. It's a sell-off. It's a salary dump, and they've decided,

hey, we had our run. It's over for the time being.

I thought that was interesting.

The second superstar Achilles team, Indiana, they've confirmed Tyrus Halliburton will now be out for the entire 25-26 season, that horrific injury in the last game seven of the NBA

finals. And they've gone a different way. Everyone sort of assumed the big free agent center

in the marketplace in the NBA this year, Miles Turner would go back to the Pacers for whatever it was, 18, 19, 20, 25 million a year.
