We actually just defended well. You compare it to that win at Liverpool, Mellier made however many saves that game. It was brilliant.

Van Dyke missed that header, didn't he? It was that weird header in the first half that bounced off his own head. But other than that, we were just really, really solid, really, really well composed, concentration on it. You could see at the end when Gruv's legs stopped working, I actually think that's just because his brain is melting from having to concentrate.

So he's so focused for 90 minutes. And you could see throughout the first half in particular, Gruave and Amperdu, just constantly chatting to teammates, pointing them to be in the right place, say who they're picking up.

If they're passing on a man, just completely on it for 90 minutes. Yeah, a terrific performance. I look at the momentum graph. We straight into their half. We started off quite well, actually. We've got a couple of little incursions into their half, one as we approached half-time, one after half-time. And then late on when that Dominic Calvert, the Inchance popped up, and he popped into the net rather brilliantly, but slightly, he was just slightly too far ahead of the defender for its account. We were saying they should have adopted Arson Venger's new offside rules. Immediately, it's January the 1st, new year, new rules. Well, they did it before, didn't it with the handball interpretation after we concededceded a penalty, when Robin Koch was unfairly judged to have given away a penalty in the first game after promotion, changed the rules. Didn't replay the game, did this? So they should be able to do that now. Bit of an unfair handball. In that game, I thought, as well. It was certainly touching go with the hit Hamper-Doo. It seemed to be shirt-sleeved, didn't it, that it had hit? It seems a very harsh booking.
