It is Tuesday, August the 2nd, a little after 10 o'clock in the morning as we record this,

probably about two hours or so till things in Mason's life changes dramatically for the next few weeks.

First of all, welcome in, bud.

How are you?

I'm good, man.

I'm ready to get things started.

Kind of been moving, literally moving out of our place.

So it's been a hectic weekend.

And we got things moving and shaking out on football.

So I'm just excited to kind of do my sport, you know? Yeah. So I know you go through spring and stuff, and that's one thing, right? It's kind of a, it's a practice and stuff. But when you go to, you show up for preseason camp in August, I mean, it's a different feeling. You know, you're going to be getting ready for games. It's not like, hey, we're getting

ready to go play each other in a spring game, and some of us will wear a red jersey, and some of us

will wear a white jersey and whatever. This is going to be different. What is the excitement level for

you right now? It's high and low. You know, I can't wait for season, you know, at the same time, you know,

fall camp is just just a month of, you know, essentially not playing yet, which always bugs

me about week two because I'm just ready to let's go. But I need it. I think the team needs

it. I think this fall camp is really important.

It's a young team paired with a lot of new pieces.

You know, on the team, you've got all these transfers coming in, and you've got some

older guys that are messing with those guys, and then you have some young guys.

There's just a lot of moving pieces and parts.

So, you know, these next couple of weeks are really important to kind of get everything ironed out, you know, post spring.
