The marvelous Land of Oz by Frank L. Baum was published in 1994 under the full title,

The Marvelous Land of Oz

being an account of the further adventures of the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman.

And as such, is the sequel to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

from 1900, which we have also read on the book shelf if you'd like to start with that.
