an experiment that was run on preschoolers back in 1972 at Stanford University. It's called

the marshmallow experiment. Maybe you've heard of it.

It's interesting that when it was conducted and all of the follow-up research led to some very definite conclusions, as experiments often do, and we will talk about those conclusions.

But there have been subsequent tests run afterwards that have in some ways mitigated those outcomes and put greater weight
