The great theme of the covenant of grace, the great theme of the Testament given to us in the New Testament scriptures is the

then they are not truly a New Testament preacher. Now, let me give

a little caveat to that. Did you know that you can actually preach and hear preaching from the Old

Testament? And it can be New Testament preaching? How is that possible? Because the entire Old Testament

was given for one purpose, and that is to point us to the person of Jesus Christ.

In other words, the 39 books we refer to as the Old Testament are not to be dispensed with,
